Andre Villas-Boas wants focus to shift from John Terry
Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas said he wants to avoid “speculating” on John Terry’s alleged racism towards Anton Ferdinand ahead of their cup clash with QPR next week.
The January 28 game between QPR and Chelsea comes three days before John Terry appears in West London magistrates court charged with racially abusing Ferdinand, a charge he denies.
The Chelsea manager appeared to urge the media to stop focusing on the incident and concentrate on the match.
“Let’s avoid speculating about it and the return to QPR and about what happened,” Villas-Boas said.
