Alot is said about Roman changing manager often. Chelsea are not the only ones to do this. The bottom area of the league sees new managers every year or two all the time. But let us look at the top of the league…
The mancs have been extraordinary with the service of red-nose, and he has no doubt provided domestic dominance over his term, which was, let us not forget, after an average start and one game away from the sack (Sheff Wed FA cup game). Had his service been in this day and age he’d never have been given so long. Red-nose has had an elongated term as he got lucky in Europe as well. That Munich game cam along at the right time. And the hierarchy at OT seem to be happy with the domestic title year-in, year-out. Well, half of them, anyway. The Moscow final was out of his hands. Lucky for him Evra got Drog sent off and Terry didn’t want the striker, Kalou, to step forward. But win it the mancs did.
Arse have stuck with paedo, but after a decent few years to his term where it was a two horse race and he picked up a few trophies he’s fallen away. And fallen away even more so of late. 7 years without anything isn’t what the fans want, no matter what one or two say on here. At the moment arse are lucky Chelsea have had such a dire season as they’d be well adrift of the top 4.
Man city go thru’ managers quicker than anyone else, but at the moment they’ve stuck with mancini for a couple of seasons so far as with the hundreds of millions spent on players they have the best quality line up at present and he can do well. Especially as the other top teams are not playing so well and one or two are in transition. Let us see if they stick with him when they don’t win the title for a couple of years.
Jst my opinion.
