Reading that article we see that it is the murdering scousers’ fault, after all.
They asked not to play on Sunday as it was the anniversary, and instead of telling them that they should be having a minute’s silence for all those who were crushed by the weight of their own fans they bowed down and stuck our game on that day – then rubbedsalt into the wound by playing it at 6pm.
If we do get past Benfica, which certainly isn’t a cert (especially now noise has been made by the club on the schedule – as that will rile them up), I’d say what little chance we did have of taking a lead over to barca or milan will have been wiped out due to exhaustion.
I can only presume we’ll have the reserves out at wembley as the fa cup has now become a new league cup and we aren’t that interested anymore. Seriously – I bet the tickets go on general sale. We’ve been allocated 31k for the wembley game.
However, we’ve had absolutely no help or understanding by the FA, and the scousers only ever think of themselves, as we know. scum.
