FIFA have now confirmed the dates for the Club World Cup.
It would appear that our first game would be on Thursday, 13th December…

…with the second game on 16th.
There is a time difference of +8 hours so, realistically we would need to leave on the Tuesday 11th December (as below).
We would therefore arrive in Tokyo at 08.55 on the morning of 12th December.
Bearing in mind luggage collection etc., and that it is a 60-minute train trip into Tokyo, we probably wouldn’t get to the hotel until around midday.
If we did this on the day of the game (KO: 19.30), we’d be exhausted.

There are plenty of 5-star hotels but they are very expensive.
The stadium is in Yokohama, where both our games will be played, which appears to be about half an hour away by train.
