Porto striker Hulk ‘wants to sign for Chelsea over French club Paris Saint-Germain’
Porto’s Brazilian striker Hulk, who is almost certain to leave the Portuguese club this summer, has expressed his desire to sign for Chelsea.
The Premier League club has been linked with a move for the striker since last season, when former manager Andre Villas-Boas tried to make Hulk follow him from Porto to Stamford Bridge.
But French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain made contact with Hulk’s agent earlier this year suggesting they were willing to pay up to £43 million, more than £13m more than the Chelsea had opened the bidding at.
But now the he 25-year-old striker has revealed he would prefer a move to England over France.
“Chelsea are the current European champions and would please any player and I’m no exception. I’d be happy if the transfer happened.”
