Ok, I admit we are vulnerable at the back, and that Torres is shit – but on a different day, with a different ref, both penalties would have been given, sturridge could’ve taken a couple of the fairly simple chances he was given, and Luiz would be awake from the kick off.
We lost as we didn’t take chances and let goals in – obvious – but that display for the best part of the game wasn’t that bad. Even clarkey admitted he was over the moon to hear the whistle. It was the alamo.
Robbie may be on his way – whether at the end of the season (probably) or if we’re well off the pace by Xmas then he could go then. NOTE – he was always going to go – he was always going to be short-term. He was owed a crack at it just on the strength of last season.
Tomorrow’s game in Turin is what is on everyone’s mind this week – so let’s get that out the way, then let’s see how we get on against man city and the pikeys in the League. This next couple of weeks will show how we react.
