Stan Collymore & Alan Hansen – Both are Absolute Jokes!

3rd January 2013 Leave a Comment

WTF?! With the possibility of being told I am repeating myself – I want to post this.

A mate of mine said he listened to the QPR game on TalkSport, which had Stan ‘woman-beating’ Collymore commentating. Commentating in a rather misleading fashion, it would seem. One of his quotes was, “Chelsea have lived in the shadow of their neighbours for periods of their history…” !! Oh, really, when would that be, Stan? Maybe when Stan ‘Gambling’ Bowles and Rodney ‘Toon Army’ Marsh were playing… err, for maybe half a season in the late 60s…? What a twat. Think about that statement. One flurry for half a season when those from the Shepherds Bush Shack finished somewhere near top of the old First Division prompts that fkkwit Collymore to say we’ve lived in our neighbour’s shadow. Lol. I personally forgot all about QPR until that Fernandes & Ecclestone turned up, so am not sure hwo they’re considered rivals, anyway. We may be a rival to them, but only ‘cos they look up and dream.

Anyway, it gets better – MotD. Yep, BBC’s MotD had Alan ‘Look at my Medals’ Hansen and Michael ‘how not to grow facial hair’ Owen giving their opinions. Hansen’s analysis of the game was somewhat different to what the rest of us witnessed in that he said, “’Arry got his tactics spot on, QPR never gave Chelsea space.” That’s not quite what I watched in the first half where we weren’t closed down at all and had so much time on the ball we weren’t sure what to do with it. Even MotD’s tv highlights showed a completely different game to what was implied; amongst the number of wayward attempts Chelsea did have numerous genuine chances to score – but we didn’t. The woeful QPR got lucky with a clearance from one of their two corners and SWP scored his first goal in 55 games. Yes, 54 games without a goal. How that equates to “Harry getting his tactics spot on” only Hansen knows. QPR were shit. Had we had the best 11 playing and had been somehow forced to get up for the game we’d have scored more then we did against the much better Villa team.

Whilst QPR may feel that they now have a revival on, and a win may give them at least some confidence, I suspect Redknapp was watching that first half thanking his lucky stars we hadn’t bothered turning up.

That’s off my chest. Looking forward to the short trip to Southampton at the weekend. It can only get better…
