That Brentford clip doing the rounds of the anti-Benetiz singing is significant. It seemed like everyone in that end was singing it.

The reason that it is significant is that the game was sold on loyalty points. The first batch went to 106 and above. Then to 99 and above, then the final tranche on 92 points and above. It sold out 10 mins after it was released to 92. I managed to get 5 tickets – 133, 130, 109 in the 1st tranche, then 100 points for another in 2nd tranche, then 94 points on the last release. My point…? The whole of the crowd were loyal fans. Those that do go every week or most weeks. Those that travel. Those that do give the club money and make efforts in travelling. Brentford may be up the road but my 130 points at the time have been earnt going alot further, including all Euro away games. A season tkt only earns you 55 or 60 points (something like that). The Chelsea fans were all those who attend games regularly.
Those who have no idea of what that man said, what he really thinks, and how tactically unaware he is are the ones that want to give him time. The JCLs and such like. Everyone who actually goes every week despises him. I could not beleive it when he was given the job. I honestly could not. The fact he’s useless is not the point. I wouldn’t care if we’d won every game – I’d still want him out. But we were never going to win every game ‘cos he’s shit. Chasing the game and a right back comes on for a right back? But forget all that – the results and behaviour of the team shows what the situation is. The demeanour is all wrong. Mata runs around, the rest seem to not be bothered – certainly last night this was more than apparent. A one-man team at the moment. Lamps worked a bit, agreed, but he isn’t playing for FSW, that’s for sure.
Not getting 4th place is a worry. Jose wouldn’t want to come without the ECL. Then players don’t want to come, either. It can snowball.
Robbie may not have been the best tactically, but the players wanted to play for him.
Still, win or lose, up the Blues.
