We are writing following your purchase of ticket/s for Chelsea’s UEFA Champions League fixture against Bayer Leverkusen in Germany on Wednesday.
As a club we greatly value your support both home and away, however following offensive chanting among fans in Genk, we are reminding supporters of their responsibilities as fans and ambassadors for the club.
Chelsea FC and the overwhelming majority of our fans abhor all forms of discrimination and we expect all supporters to behave in a manner which reflects well on the club and our following. Any behaviour that falls below these standards will not be tolerated and the club will take the strongest possible action.
We would also ask that should any fans hear any chanting of a discriminatory nature it should be reported either to a steward or to the club by ringing 0207 386 3355. Your call will be dealt with in a confidential manner.
On behalf of Chelsea Football Club we would like to thank you for your continued support.
