Ok, it was just the charity shield. And no, it isn’t an important game. And no, I don’t give a fkn about it. But yes, of course you want to win every game. But no, I’m not bothered we didn’t. But yes, I didn’t like the way the game went.
Kun[t] Aguero was a massive cheat and Savic is a fkn cheat too. Then more and more cheating. Ref ruined the game with sending off. Didn’t look bad but replays would confirm ref could give the decision if he wanted to, but it would’ve been harsh in PL game. That’s what was being said. So to ruin a pre-season friendly with a sending off when the game wasn’t nasty (at that time) was defo harsh.
But how hard the city fans celebrated shows they want to win everything, and that it means something to them right now. Talksport said that reports of Ashley Cole handing his losers’ medal to a city fan in the tunnel are true. Maybe the guy taunted him. A European Champions League winner being taunted by a fan whose team just won the charity shield against 10-men. lol. Also reports that kolo taure spat the dummy and didn’t even want his winners’ medal. he threw that into the crowd. He has the hump ‘cos he can’t get a game.
Anyway, we lost the charity (community) shield. What is more concerning is how we keep shipping goals in. That’s 13 in the last 5 games, isn’t it? Not good. We also looked weak going forward. Torres took the goal well, but we didn’t look good going forward, I felt.
Let’s see how we get on next week…
