T*ttenham H*tspur manager Andre Villas-Boas faces test of his team and himself when he is reuinted with Chelsea
The over-riding feeling, beyond the anger, beyond the frustration, for Andre Villas-Boas when sacked by Chelsea in March was embarrassment.
He felt as if his unforgiving eight months in the Premier League had shredded his reputation; that he had erred in going to Chelsea in the first place, that he had made mistakes but, also, that he had been let down.
The biggest error for him was not in man management, not in simply failing to get results or in having to deal with a powerful dressing room but in believing the assurances he had been given by Roman Abramovich, who wanted more discipline and better football.
