I thought we were poor yesterday. When Torres has an off day we don’t seem to gel. I am not looking for a scapegoat, but that is my observation. The writing was on the wall by half time, and I was surprised the same 11 came back out.
Looked like Mata was fouled in the box, and then a handball that was given to the shite last week wasn’t given to us this week. But we shouldn’t be reluying on penalty claims against a very mediocre Newcastle team.
I thought the team looked a good choice when I saw it, although I would’ve had Luiz in front of the back four and Cahill in next to Terry. I’d have left out Ramires. It was obvious Newcastle were going to sit back, so we shoulkd’ve gone for it and let Luiz go for walk about.
If you don’t take chances then you don’t win. And if you don’t create chances you can’t take them. Passing the ball around all afternoon doesn’t get you points, goals do.
I can’t stand that fkn Pardew. He has his head up his arse, the smug knt. Always so fkn smug when he gets a win, no matter who against. Then we never hear a dicky bird when they’re on a bad run. Can’t stand his voice. Really.
Another kick up the arse. Shame, as we were starting to build some belief.
Win or lose, up the Blues.
